(From the Newsletter dated August 1998)
In 1963, Dr. Nurgesh Ganapathy, the RMO, of Kilpauk Medical College, brought to the attention of the Blue Cross the horrific experiments on animals taking place at the college. She has been an active associate, donor and member of the Governing Body since 1964. She had been Vice Chairman for nearly fifteen years and a source of great strength and support to the organization.
Her passing away is a great loss to the Blue Cross and to the suffering animals for whom she had great compassion.
