Way to Go!!
Blue Cross has always focused on indian dogs as pets since we believe that they're the ideal pets for our Indian conditions. No less than a pedigree, or sometimes even better, when it comes to being a lovable companion, indian dogs come with the USP of zero maintenance! No AC rooms, no special diets or frequent emergency visits to your vets.
Also, when we find homes for m pets, we save it from an uncertain future on the streets, while systematically controlling the street dog population by taking away the pups from the roads and finding them proper homes Adopt a Petinstead.
All through the year, we give out pups, kittens and grown up dogs too, for adoption. Grown up dogs are very popular with those who want a house broken (toilet trained) pet. Anyone with a room in his heart and home can come to our Guindy premises(72, Velachery Main Road) and adopt an abandoned animal or call us at 230 0666 / 235 4959 for more information or send an emails to us.
There are millions of stray and homeless animals in India today. The Blue Cross does what is practically possible to control these numbers in a humane way for e.g. by adopting procedures such as Animal Birth Control. But due to severe financial and infrastructural constraints, it is impossible for the Blue Cross to individually provide shelter for all these animals. If each one of us were to adopt one stray/ homeless animal, the numbers of those without shelter would become negligible.
This page is intended to facilitate the adoption of homeless animals, but is not for breeders looking to advertise their puppies/ kittens etc... on the Internet.
We request you to take a little bit of an effort to help find good homes for these helpless creatures.
NOTE: Adoption is totally free. The "Blue Cross of India" only requires the adopter to submit certain details about himself/ herself.
If you can't decide between an Alsatian, a Doberman or a Poodle, get them all in an All-Indian dog.
Adopt an Indian dog from the "Blue Cross" shelter and get everything you're looking for, all in one dog. The intelligence of a Poodle and the loyalty of a Collie. The bark of a Shepherd and the heart of a Saint Bernard, the spots of a Dalmatian, size of a Schnauzer and the speed of a Greyhound. A genuine All Indian has it all. And the shelter has lots of All Indian dogs waiting for you. There are genuine, All Indian cats too.
Get the best of everything. Adopt an Indian dog
